The story of Mezcal Creyente begins when the Chaneque (an ancient aztec spirit) goes out in search of human spirits to ask for help during a voyage. Through this trip, he can recover his original form and once again provide agaves with mystical essence, thus creating the perfect blend. On it's label, it has a mythological animal made up of a jaguar, an antelope and a golden eagle. The jaguar represents its soft, complex and velvety body, the antelope its sweet, fruity and herbaceous notes, and the golden eagle is the elegance of its smoked mesquite wood flavors. The word mezcal derives from the Aztec word "mexcalli", which is made up of metl, which means “maguey or agave,” and ixcalli, which means “cooked,” so mezcal translates to “cooked agave.” - HACIENDA SAN MIGUEL
This wine was created to pay tribute to Mexico through its particular label. This blend of 3 varieties is produced in Saltillo, Coahuila in a boutique vineyard suitable to offer our palates a ruby-colored wine, aromas reminiscent of ripe red fruits, herbal notes and on the palate you will perceive a balanced wine with a medium body and fresh acidity that the youth of the grapes provide.
